Derbyshire Life has teamed up with C W Sellors to offer the chance to win a Derbyshire Blue John dragonfly brooch worth £280

House Style sterling silver marcasite and Blue John large dragonfly brooch House Style sterling silver marcasite and Blue John large dragonfly brooch

This beautiful dragonfly brooch, in sparkling silver marcasite with stunning handcrafted Derbyshire Blue John wings, provides an elegant way to accessorise any outfit.

The beautiful brooch is part of C W Sellors’ stunning new House Style jewellery collection, which was inspired by the Five Centuries of Fashion exhibition at Chatsworth House this summer. The late Dowager Duchess of Devonshire loved her insect brooches and wore them pinned to her shoulder, or across the front of a velvet waistcoat. Many of them were gifts from her husband, Andrew Cavendish, 11th Duke of Devonshire.

Her love of butterflies and bees, dragonflies and grasshoppers has inspired the House Style collection by C W Sellors, made at its Ashbourne workshop.

For details of the other exquisite jewels in the House Style jewellery collection visit www.cwsellorshousestyle.co.uk or call 01335 453 453.
