Nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside, The Thorn Tree Inn pub and restaurant is a great place to stop for a well-deserved rest after a long walk, a special celebration or occasion, and anything in between! They also welcome four-legged visitors into their pub and beer garden, so if you’re visiting with your pooch, they’ll find you a cosy space in a dog friendly part of their restaurant!

The Thorn Tree Inn, has very recently gone through an exciting refurbishment, really bringing the character of the pub to life, with more soft seating and cosy areas to relax with a drink with your family and friends, with customers who’ve already visited welcoming the changes that have been made, with excellent feedback given already!

One particular customer left the following feedback on the recently renovated Thorn Tree Inn TripAdvisor page: “Passed here many times, but thought of it only as Fish and Chip restaurant. Noticed it had been refurbed so my wife, mother in law and I called in, What a surprise! Very tastefully decorated and very characterful, no way is this your usual Fish and Chip place. A very good menu, well priced and a good bar area and outside space with extensive views of the countryside. Charlotte our waitress was very attentive and made sure our visit was to our satisfaction. We’ll be back!”

The Thorn Tree Inn is a family friendly pub, which specialises in freshly prepared traditional pub classics such as homemade pies, speciality steaks and burgers made to their own recipe, as well as their classic award-winning fish and chips, whilst also offering dishes with a unique twist, including delicious charcoal grilled meat and fish dishes!
