Synonymous with golf’s Ryder Cup, the illustrious Belfry Hotel and Resort offers the ultimate dining experience. The recent launch of a new summer menu offers an even more tempting reason to visit

Located within the renowned Belfry Hotel and Resort, the Ryder Grill has recently launched a new à la carte menu under the leadership of Chef Director Glen Watson. Designed to appeal to an array of palates, the menu provides some exquisite options for guests to enhance their culinary experience.

With the showcase grill at the heart of The Ryder Grill, the new menu compliments the succulent Chateaubriand and aged steaks that diners have come to expect from the Belfry’s signature restaurant.

New dishes include appetisers such as Tuna Tartare served with chopped avocado, sesame seeds, wasabi cream, and ginger dressing and grilled scallops with a minted green pea puree and beetroot crisps. Main course options range from marinated duck breast served with caramelised onion risotto to sea bass or vegetable wellington.

Chef Director Glen Watson has been instrumental in implementing the new à la carte menu. He joined the Ryder Grill in 2013 from the Albert Roux Consultancy, and his past experience includes working at Gleagles in Scotland and at the George V in Paris.

Glen commented: ‘We are all very excited by the new menu that we feel appeals to a wider audience ensuring all customers have a memorable dining experience with us.

We wanted to show how abundant our food is year round and cater for a number of dining needs, offering dishes like Grilled tuna mignon and Lobster frites for those light summer evenings and our signature 28 day aged Scotch beef perfect as part of a filling three course meal suitable at any time of the year!’

In addition to the à la carte menu, The Ryder Grill also offers a traditional Sunday Lunch. From 1pm- 5pm each Sunday, the restaurant provides a mouth-watering selection of starters, delicious mains from the Grill carvery and homemade desserts.
