SLEEPING BEAUTY

Kenneth Alan Taylor returns to write and direct a fun festive family treat. When beautiful Princess Rosalind pricks her finger on evil fairy Maleficent's spinning wheel the entire kingdom is sent to sleep. Can brave Prince Alexander, Jerry the Jester and Fairy Wisheart foil the evil fairy's villainous plans and save Sleeping Beauty?

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK

Lee Latchford-Evans from pop super-group Steps is playing Jack, with the task of climbing the beanstalk to defeat the giant and find fame, fortune and true love. PETER PAN

Following on from the success of 2017's Beauty and the Beast and Jack and the Beanstalk last year, Derby LIVE and local company Little Wolf Entertainment have joined forces again and will be flying audiences to magical Neverland. Actor Bill Ward (Emmerdale, Coronation Street and the West End) takes the part of dastardly Captain Hook, while Katrina Bryan (CBeebies', Nina and the Neurons and Molly & Mack) plays Tinker Bell. Spectacular effects, loads of laughs, lost boys, musical mermaids, pirates, more than a sprinkling of fairy dust and one very large crocodile are promised. Bill Ward says, 'I properly love panto and am very much up for the challenge of getting an entire arena to boo me!'
