John German teams up with ‘We are Ghost’

An imaginative rebranding initiative has been catching the eyes of home owners and property experts throughout Staffordshire and Derbyshire thanks to the collaboration of two local companies

John German has been selling property and land since 1840 and recently its management team decided to look for some new ideas to freshen up the company brand. After searching they turned to Burton-on Trent based creative agency, We are Ghost for inspiration.

John German director, Phil Sandbach explained: ‘John German has developed a reputation for professional and efficient service to our customers. We blend traditional values and local knowledge with 21st century technology.

‘We felt it was time to look for some professional help with our brand identity, advertising and marketing activities for our offices in Ashbourne, Burton Upon Trent, Lichfield, Stafford, and Uttoxeter.

‘We were recommended to We are Ghost and we met with David Agnew, managing director. It was immediately clear that they were the right agency to help us. They understood what we needed straight away and produced some stunning visual ideas for our advertising,’ explained Phil Sandbach.

Together with his colleague, Donna Aldridge, Phil encouraged Ghost to look at all of John German’s marketing and advertising needs and Ghost quickly took on the role of ‘brand guardian’ for the company. Exciting new concepts and visual treatments have been incorporated into all of John German’s marketing collateral.

Donna Aldridge said: ‘The response, both internally and from our customers has been very positive. The new look has certainly been well received and has drawn many compliments and comments.’

For Ghost, David Agnew commented: ‘We were delighted to be working with John German and especially to have the responsibility of acting as brand guardian. Our ideas have been enthusiastically received, we are working well together as a team and the results are impacting on John German’s key target audiences.’
