ABF The Soldiers’ Charity organised an exceptional fund-raising event hosted by Chatsworth

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity organised an exceptional fund-raising event hosted by Chatsworth and attended by Derbyshire’s Lord Lieutenant William Tucker, the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, High Sheriff Oliver Stephenson, civic dignitaries and Derbyshire supporters of the charity.

The evening began with a drinks reception in the Chatsworth Country Fair Members’ Marquee, followed by a Beating Retreat by The Band of The Royal Engineers. Then it was time for an excellent supper in the Carriage House Restaurant. Edwina Currie was the guest speaker.

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity gives constant support to the Army family, caring for veterans from every conflict, and without the generous contributions of their supporters none of their life-changing work would be possible. www.soldierscharity.org
