What’s on at Royal Crown Derby in December

Date: 5th and 12th December

Time: 10am-8pm

Where: Royal Crown Derby Factory Shop

The Royal Crown Derby Osmaston Road Factory Shop will be hosting two special shopping events on the 5th and 12th December. The shopping days will start at 10am and include a late night opening until 8pm. A range of special offers will be available on selected products and shoppers will be able to treat themselves to a festive glass of mulled wine.

Where: Royal Crown Derby Visitors Centre

On Saturday 7th December, the newly refurbished Royal Crown Derby Visitors Centre will be hosting the Hope House Costume Museum Fashion Show as part of its Christmas events programme. Based in Derbyshire, the Hope House museum collection consists of 600 beautiful costume pieces for men, women and children, with items dating from the 18th century. The show will start at 2pm and ticketholders will be entitled to a complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pie.

Time: 11am-5pm

Where: Royal Crown Derby Visitors Centre

During the weekend of the 14th of December, the Royal Crown Derby Visitors Centre will be hosting a number of festive activities for Christmas. These festivities will be officially opened by ITV News Central Presenter Lucy Kite. An outdoor market will be situated on the grounds complete with Christmas food produce, drinks and gifts, while the retail shop inside the Osmaston Road factory will be presenting a range of gift ideas and outlet pieces. Newly refurbished this year, the Visitors Centre will also display an exhibition of beautiful seasonal fine dining. A number of Christmas cookery demonstrations from Chef Nigel Brown will also take place throughout the weekend and visitors will be able to enjoy a Christmas-themed afternoon tea. Ticketholders will be entitled to a complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pie
