On the back of his recent award at the Institute of Couriers for the Ex-Armed forces category, Paul Latham, owner of Diamond Logistics Derby is looking forward to his first Christmas deliveries.

As Paul says, ‘Diamond Logistics Derby opened in February 2014 with one core aim to provide customers with a locally backed same day, overnight and international courier service. We have been rapidly expanding and have brought on a number of new accounts who really value the difference a really good courier makes’.

Diamond offers local and national clients three main services to incorporate all their logistical needs – from same day courier, to overnight and international consignments to an actual warehouse service – a bespoke pick, pack and despatch solution for mainly online based clients.

So what’s so different about Diamond? Well it’s all about the local client care. Traditionally if you got all the resources you needed from a big company you couldn’t get the personalised client care and the quality of delivery – but Diamond by encouraging local ownership backed by a national headquarters brings its clients the very best of both worlds.

What can Diamond help YOU deliver this Christmas? Paul confirms, ‘It’s all about how our services help our clients run their businesses more smoothly and make better profits. With our courier services they can effectively outsource their logistics requirements entirely and that frees them up to concentrate on their core business – and that’s leads to improved performance. Using Diamond Logistics improves our client’s bottom line – and makes their clients happier too. Great delivery is the back bone of client retention so we help our clients sustain their clients and grow’.

So what made Paul choose the logistics sector? ‘I was nearing the end of my time in the forces and I was looking for a new challenge. I also really wanted to apply the skills that I had learnt in the army, including planning, project management, logistics, communication, training, development and of course, driving!

Knowing that I’m part of a dynamic and fast growing network is a great motivator and tremendously exciting’. Paul has also recruited Warren Lewis who is working on Business Development and in the increasingly busy operations plus two drivers as his business continues to grow.

If your business needs deliveries and wants its sales and profits to grow in 2015 Paul has a New Year’s resolution for you, ‘Choose Diamond Logistics – a courier company that deliver not just your promises, but your profits too!’
