The 99th Ashby Show, takes place at Cattows Farm, Normanton Lane, Heather, Leics on Sunday 14 July

Organised by members of the Ashby-de-la-Zouch and District Agricultural Society, the Show remains true to its traditional agricultural heritage while offering a wonderful day out for the whole family.

Top competitors from around the country attend the cattle, sheep, horse and pony and show jumping classes, while there is an exciting entertainment programme in the main ring, headed this year by the acclaimed Stampede Stunt Company and brought to a fun end by the Young Farmers’ Straw Bale Challenge.

A dog show, modern and vintage farm machinery displays and over 200 trade stands are some of the other attractions. In anticipation of next year’s centenary event, the organisers are on the lookout for any photos of the Show over the years. Visit
