Derbyshire County Cricket Clubs impressive new permanent marquee was the venue for a wonderful evening for Don and Mary Amott which raised 12,000 for Derby Hospitals Charity. The event, sponsored by Handelsbanken to the value of 2,000 and organised by the Cricket Clubs Chief Executive Keith Loring and Deputy Chief Executive Kerry Madeley, included entertainment from internationally renowned tenor Thomas Spencer- Wortley, TV personality auctioneer Charles Hanson and a backdrop of cricket as England played New Zealand in a NatWest Womens Series International.
