York Guns Ltd hopes to expand its business in to a one stop shop but will keep guns and accessories at the forefront of what it does best.

Founded in 1980, the company has been leading the way in the world of shooting in Yorkshire ever since. With a wealth of knowledge, it encompasses most shooting sports with specialist staff to help in all departments. Whether you are looking for a new sport to take up as a beginner and need some good advice or are in the market for a change, they can help you find the right gun at a budget to suit all pockets.

Bosses are now looking to expand the country clothing department as they feel it is a natural expansion into a market which goes hand in glove with an already established name for shooting equipment.

David Thompson, Sales Director, said: As a small local business ourselves (16 strong), we believe in keeping things local. This is why we chose a local company (PureNet) to develop our new B2C retail website due to launch early this summer.

This is a huge step forward for us and we are confident that it will give us
the platform we need to integrate our established name in retail to the highl competitive world of e-commerce sales. We are very excited about the recent new developments and the challenges they will bring, However, we are still keeping our feet firmly on the ground
with our main focus on customer service and a massive selection of products available on the shelf.

As well as being one of the countrys major retailers of shooting equipment,
we also import and distribute our own range of products into the UK trade through our wholesale department. This side of our business is experiencing health growth at present and is set for some exciting new products to add to its portfolio very soon!

At present one of our most popular items is of our own design and
manufactured locally (all within a 15 mile radius of York). It is our range of silenced 410 shotguns called the Stealth.
