A selection of events held over the coming months

As the famous Buxton Festival draws to a close, there will be many events taking place as a grand finale. During the weekend of 20th and 21st July, the annual Pavilion Gardens Summer Fete will be taking place in the Octagon Hall. Entertainment this year will be present in the forms of the local Morris Dancing troupe and a band who will be playing in the beautifully restored bandstand. With over 60 stalls offering a fantastically diverse range of food, garden furniture, arts, fashion and accessories, a play area and falconry display, this is sure to be a brilliant event which caters for all the family. The Pavilion Gardens will also be hosting a Special Summer Outdoor Farmer’s Market on Thursday August 1st. This will be from 9:30am til 3:30pm on the Promenade and promises to be an enjoyable outdoor market with a twist; an exciting array of crafts, books, antiques, plants and jewellery will be on offer. This year the regular traders and farmers will be joined by several Saturday Bazaar traders, who will hopefully help to make the event bigger and better than ever!
